UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Based on the Decision of the Senate of the University of Zenica on the announcement of a Competition for the selection and appointment of a member of the Board of Directors from among students (one member) of the University of Zenica, number: 01-02-1-1406\/16 <\/span>of<\/span> 30.03.2016. <\/span>years<\/span> and Decisions of the Senate of the University of Zenica on general, special conditions and criteria for the selection and appointment of a member of the Board of Directors from among the students of the University of Zenica, number: 01-02-1-1405\/16 dated March 30, 2016, the University of Zenica publishes <\/span><\/p>\n

COMPETITION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

for the election and appointment to the vacant position of one member of the Board of Directors of the University of Zenica<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

from among the students of the University of Zenica<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Competition is published <\/span><\/strong>for the election and appointment to the vacant position of one member of the Board of Directors of the University of Zenica <\/span><\/strong>from among the students of the University of Zenica<\/span><\/strong>, as follows:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

–<\/span><\/strong> member of the Board of Directors from among the students of the University of Zenica \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026<\/span><\/strong>……<\/span><\/strong> 1 member<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/p>\n

Selection and appointment <\/span>to the vacant position of one <\/span>member<\/span>a<\/span> of the Board of Directors <\/span>of the University of Zenica from among the students of the University of Zenica <\/span>is done on <\/span>period<\/span> until the expiration of the mandate of the Board of Directors of the University of Zenica, appointed by the Decision of the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, number: 02-34-11478\/14 of 03.06.2014, published in the Official Gazette of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, number: 3\/14, and at the latest until 06\/03\/2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Scope of work of the Board of Directors<\/span> of the University of Zenica is determined by the provisions of Article 51 of the Law on Higher Education (Official Gazette of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, number: 6\/09, 9\/13, 13\/13 and 4\/15), Article 19, paragraph 2. <\/span>Law on JU University in Zenica (Official Gazette of Zenica-Doboj Canton, number: 6\/05, 11\/06, 6\/09, 10\/11, 16\/11, 15\/12 and 13\/13) and <\/span>ch<\/span>Article 57, paragraph (1) of the Statute of the University of Zenica (Refined text), namely:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. adopts the Statute of the University, and adopts a general act on the internal organization and systematization of workplaces, as well as other general acts in accordance with the law;<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. makes a decision on the establishment of other legal entities, in accordance with the law and the Statute, with the prior consent of the Founder; <\/span><\/li>\n
  3. determines financing and development plans;<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. adopts the University's annual work program at the proposal of the University Senate;<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. adopts a financial plan;<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. directs, controls and evaluates the work of the rector in the field of financial operations;<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. resolves issues of relations with the Founder;<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. decides on the use of funds for work in accordance with the Statute;<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. is responsible to the Founder for the results of the University's work;<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. decides on the employee's objection to the decisions of the University authorities who, in the first instance, decided on the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the employee from the employment relationship;<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. submits a report on the University's business to the Founder at least once a year;<\/span><\/li>\n
  12. makes the final decision on the election and dismissal of the director of the Student Center;<\/span><\/li>\n
  13. gives consent in accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 12 of this Statute;<\/span><\/li>\n
  14. determines the price proposal for the institute's services as an organizational unit of the University;\u00a0 <\/span><\/li>\n
  15. makes a decision on announcing a competition for the admission of food and accommodation of students to the Student Center of the University;<\/span><\/li>\n
  16. determines the price proposal for food and accommodation of students in the Student Center of the University;<\/span><\/li>\n
  17. performs other tasks in accordance with the law, the act of incorporation and the Statute.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    II<\/h1>\n

    A candidate who meets the general and special requirements can be elected as a member of the Board of Directors from among the students of the University of Zenica.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The general conditions are:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. that he is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina,<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. that he is older than 18 years,<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. that there are no court proceedings against him for a criminal offense and an economic offense incompatible with the position of a member of the Board of Directors,<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      4. that he has not been convicted of a criminal offense or an economic offense incompatible with the position of a member of the Management Board.<\/span><\/p>\n

      \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      Special conditions are:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. that he is a student of the second, third or fourth year of the first (first) cycle of studies at one of the faculties of the University of Zenica,<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. that he passed all exams from the previous year of study (second-year students), previous years (third-year students), previous years (fourth-year students) and achieved an overall average grade in all subjects 7,5<\/u><\/strong> and more, <\/u><\/span><\/li>\n
      3. demonstrated activity in the work of the student association at one of the organizational units of the University of Zenica, i.e. activity in decision-making in the academic body of one of the organizational units or the academic body of the University of Zenica,<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. knowledge of legal and by-law regulations on the work and functioning of the University of Zenica, organizational structure of the University of Zenica, budget operations through the Treasury, and knowledge of the financing of budget users of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, that is, the University of Zenica.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Student representatives elected to the Senate of the University of Zenica, as well as student representatives elected to the scientific-teaching council of the faculty\/organizational unit, cannot be members of the Board of Directors.<\/span><\/p>\n

        A candidate who is elected to the position of a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Zenica from among students is obliged to submit certificates by the beginning of each academic year proving the fulfillment of the conditions for selection required by item II sub-items 1 and 2 (special conditions) of this Competition.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

        III<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

        With application<\/strong> candidates for a member of the Board of Directors from among the students of the University of Zenica are required to submit evidence of fulfilling the required general conditions:<\/span><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Brief biography, address, contact phone number, e-mail,<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. Certificate of citizenship, in accordance with point II subpoint 1. (general conditions) <\/span><\/li>\n
        3. Birth certificate, in accordance with point II subpoint 2. (general conditions) <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Candidates for the member of the Board of Directors from among the students of the University of Zenica are required to submit evidence of meeting special conditions:<\/span><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Certificate of student status of the University of Zenica, in accordance with point II subpoint 1. (special conditions), <\/span><\/li>\n
          2. Certificate of passed exams, in accordance with point II subpoint 2. (special conditions),<\/span><\/li>\n
          3. Confirmation of the student association or Union of students, in accordance with point II subpoint 3. (special conditions).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            IV<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

            The candidate is obliged to sign the Application for the Competition and a short Biography, address, contact phone number and e-mail address, <\/span>otherwise, the candidate's application will be considered incomplete.<\/span><\/p>\n

            Documents on the fulfillment of general and special conditions from point II must be original or certified copies no older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Competition.<\/p>\n

            Candidates who meet the conditions required by the competition will be invited to an interview by the Competition Committee <\/span>for selection and appointment<\/span> ch<\/span>member of the Board of Directors from among the students of the University of Zenica<\/span> (<\/span>below<\/span>: <\/span>Competition commission<\/span>), appointed by the Senate of the University of Zenica.<\/span><\/p>\n

            If the invited candidates, who meet the conditions of the Competition, do not attend the interview, they will be considered to have abandoned the Competition. <\/span><\/p>\n

            Candidates from the ranks of students from point II who were elected to membership of the Senate, i.e. scientific-teaching council of one of the organizational units, by election and appointment to the position of member of the Board of Directors of the University of Zenica, are obliged to initiate the procedure of dismissal from the above positions, i.e. membership in the academic bodies of the University of Zenica , within 15 days from the date of appointment as a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Zenica.<\/span><\/p>\n

            V<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

            A candidate from among students, who is elected by the decision of the Senate of the University of Zenica, is obliged to submit to the Competition Commission, within 7 (seven) days from the date of the Senate session of the University of Zenica, certificates\/certificates from the competent courts, in accordance with point II subpoint 3 of the general of the conditions of the Competition, as well as the confirmation\/verification of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in accordance with point II sub-point 4 of the general conditions of the Competition.<\/span><\/p>\n

            Candidates submit the above-mentioned certificates\/verifications, not older than 3 (three) months from the date of issue by the competent authorities, in the original or a certified copy.\n<\/p>\n

            VI<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

            Applications, with all necessary documentation, must be submitted within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of the Contest in the daily newspaper "Oslobo\u0111enje".<\/span><\/p>\n

            Applications for the Competition with the necessary attachments are submitted in a sealed envelope by registered mail or to the protocol of the Rectorate of the University of Zenica, to the address:<\/span><\/p>\n

            Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

            The contest was published in the daily newspaper "Oslobo\u0111enje" on April 11, 2016<\/p>\n
