COMPETITION\/CONTEST<\/strong>
\nFOR THE ENROLLMENT OF STUDENTS IN THE FIRST YEAR AND (FIRST) CYCLE OF STUDIES AT<\/strong>

\nIN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2016\/2017<\/strong>
\n(FIRST REGISTRATION DEADLINE)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Competition\/Competition for the enrollment of students in the first year of the 1st (first) cycle of studies at the University of Zenica in the academic year 2016\/2017 lasts from June 20 to July 1, 2016<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Entrance exams at the faculties of the University of Zenica will be held from July 4 to July 8, 2016<\/u><\/strong>about which faculties will inform candidates on their notice boards with detailed information on the content and method of taking the entrance exam.<\/p>\n

Enrollment of students who will be admitted to the faculties of the University of Zenica in the first enrollment period will take place from
\nSeptember 1<\/u><\/strong> until September 12, 2016<\/u><\/strong>.years.<\/p>\n

In the first year of study in the academic year 2016\/2017, candidates are enrolled in accordance with the Student Enrollment Plan for the first year of the I (first) cycle of studies at the University of Zenica.<\/p>\n

Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, foreign citizens and stateless persons who have completed a four-year high school in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as candidates who completed high school outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for whom, after the nostrification procedure, have the right to participate in the Contest\/Competition \/equivalence determined to have completed adequate education for continuing education.<\/p>\n

Exceptionally, candidates who completed high school outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to participate in the Competition even before the certification\/equivalence of the certificate of completed secondary education abroad, but they can enroll in the first year after the certification\/equivalence of completed education abroad, and no later than the beginning of the 2016\/2017 academic year.<\/p>\n

The admission and enrollment of students in the first year of studies is carried out by special commissions appointed by the deans of the University of Zenica.<\/p>\n

The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the Decision on criteria and standards for determining the order of admission of candidates for the first year of the first cycle of studies at the University of Zenica, which is an integral part of this Contest\/Competition, as well as individual faculty evaluation criteria grade in subjects relevant to the respective study and evaluation of the results of the entrance exams at the faculties where the entrance exam is scheduled.<\/p>\n

The ranking list and the list of admitted candidates will be published by the faculties on the notice board and on the faculty's website, after they have been verified by the competent authorities, for faculties where the entrance exam is scheduled to take place no later than five days after the last day of the entrance exam, and for other faculties no later than five days from the closing date of the Competition<\/p>\n

Faculties will provide complete information on the place and time of submission of documents for the Competition\/Competition on their bulletin boards and website.<\/p>\n

Candidates submit the following documents with their application to the Contest\/Competition for enrollment in the first year of the I (first) cycle of studies:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • a) application for enrollment in which the study program\/department to which he\/she is applying is correctly indicated,<\/li>\n
  • original certificates of completed high school grades completed in BiH for a four-year period, i.e. appropriate documents on the implementation of the nostrification\/equivalence procedure for candidates who completed high school outside of BiH,<\/li>\n
  • original high school diploma,<\/li>\n
  • birth certificate,<\/li>\n
  • Certificate of Citizenship,<\/li>\n
  • f) other documents relevant for determining the number of points according to the criteria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2<\/p>\n

    Candidates who are beneficiaries of the rights based on the Law on Supplementary Rights of Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, number: 1\/14) attach the following documents in addition to the previously mentioned documents:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • certified household list,<\/li>\n
    • income certificates of household members,<\/li>\n
    • certified copy of identity card,<\/li>\n
    • confirmation of the status of a member of the defense population.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Winner of a war award or decoration, war invalid, demobilized defender, child of a martyr, killed, deceased, missing defender, child of a war award or decoration winner, child of a war invalid and child of a demobilized defender in the status of a full-time student, has the right to priority under equal conditions at admission to the faculties of the University of Zenica, and in accordance with Article 20 of the Law on Supplementary Rights of Veterans and Their Family Members ("Official Gazette of the Zenica-Doboj Canton", No. 1\/14 and the Decree on Priority in the Education of Veterans and Their Family Members ("Official Gazette newspaper of the Zenica-Doboj Canton\u00bb, number 4\/14, 1\/18 and 15\/21).<\/p>\n

      Enrollment of candidates from the category of children: martyrs, martyrs, deceased, missing defenders; deceased, deceased, missing winner of a war award or decoration; deceased war invalids and deceased demobilized defenders, who apply for regular studies (financed by the Founder) and pass the entrance exam, but do not enter the quota stipulated in the Enrollment Plan, as well as candidates who do not achieve the required number of points according to the general and special criteria at the faculties of for which the entrance exam is not foreseen, will be resolved by a special conclusion of the Cantonal Government on giving consent to the increase of a certain number of students for enrollment.<\/p>\n

      Members of the Roma nationality have the right to unconditional enrollment in the status of regular students financed by the Founder, beyond the quota stipulated in the Enrollment Plan.<\/p>\n

      Persons with disabilities through 70% have the right to unconditional enrollment in the status of regular students financed by the Founder, beyond the quota stipulated in the Enrollment Plan.<\/p>\n

      Applications submitted after the established deadline, as well as incomplete applications, will not be considered.<\/p>\n

      For all faculties that do not receive the planned number of candidates in this enrollment period, a Competition (second enrollment period) will be announced at the beginning of September 2016.<\/p>\n

      Article 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      This Decision establishes common criteria and standards for scoring and enrolling candidates in the first year of studies at the University of Zenica.<\/p>\n

      Article 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Ranking of candidates and admission of students to the first year of study will be done depending on the number of points the candidate earns:<\/p>\n

                • results achieved at competitions in subjects relevant to a specific study, i<\/li>\n
                • special recognition "Student of the generation".<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Article 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  The number of points based on general success is a maximum of 40, and is determined by multiplying the average grade from all subjects in all grades by 8, rounded to one decimal place.<\/p>\n

                  Article 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  The number of points based on success in individual subjects important for the respective study is a maximum of 20, and is determined by multiplying the average grade in subjects important for the respective study by department by 4.<\/p>\n

                  Article 5.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  The evaluation of the results based on the success achieved in the entrance exam, as well as the list of subjects important for the respective study from which the entrance exam is taken by department and the method of scoring on this basis, the faculties will highlight on their notice boards, with the maximum number of points that the candidate can achieve on this base is 40.<\/p>\n

                  Article 6.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  For one of the places won at the cantonal competition for high school students, the following number of points is awarded:<\/p>\n

                    \n
                  • a) for winning first place\u2026\u2026\u2026.3 points<\/li>\n
                  • for winning second place\u2026\u2026..2 points i<\/li>\n
                  • c) for winning the third place\u2026\u2026\u2026.1 point<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    For one of the places won in the competition of high school students at the level\/level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the following number of points is awarded:<\/p>\n

                      \n
                    • for winning first place\u2026\u2026\u20264 points<\/li>\n
                    • for winning second place\u2026\u2026.3 points i<\/li>\n
                    • f) for winning the third place\u2026\u2026\u20262 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      For one of the places won in the international competition for high school students, the following number of points is awarded:<\/p>\n

                        \n
                      • g) for winning the first place\u2026\u2026\u20265 points<\/li>\n
                      • for winning second place\u2026\u2026.4 points i<\/li>\n
                      • for winning the third place\u2026\u2026\u20263 points.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        The total number of points that the candidate receives based on the competition from this article cannot exceed 10, and it is formed based on the sum of points for all results, with the fact that only competitions that are officially organized at the level of the Canton, the Federation of BiH and BiH and from the subjects of mathematics, physics, foreign language, informatics. For technical faculties, in addition to the above, the results of the competition called "Technical Creativity Review" organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of ZE-DO Canton are also scored.<\/p>\n

                        Article 7.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                        A candidate who is the holder of the special award "Student of the generation" is enrolled in the desired faculty, without any previous conditions.<\/p>\n

                        Article 8.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                        Candidates who achieve at least 50% points in the appropriate entrance exam can enroll in the faculties of the University of Zenica.<\/p>\n

                        Article 9<\/strong><\/p>\n

                        The procedure for implementing this Decision is carried out by a committee appointed by the dean of the faculty.
                        \nAt the faculties where the entrance exam is taken, the commission is obliged to ensure the secrecy of the exam material and other relevant documentation.
                        \nAfter adding up the points for each candidate individually according to all the bases from this Decision, the commission compiles a ranking list of all candidates and a list of accepted candidates and announces it on the notice board after it has been adopted by the competent authority, and within the deadline set in the Competition\/Competition.
                        \nCandidates can submit a written objection to the published ranking list to the scientific and teaching council of the faculty within three days from the date of publication of the list.
                        \nThe scientific and teaching council of the faculty is obliged to decide on the objection within three days and inform the candidate accordingly.
                        \nThe decision of the Scientific and Teaching Council is final.<\/p>\n

                        Article 10.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                        Faculties that do not receive the planned number of candidates in the first competition period will hold a second competition period in September of the current year.<\/p>\n

                        Article 11.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                        Candidates who, in accordance with this Contest\/Competition, are admitted to the faculties for enrollment in the first year of studies, in addition to the submitted documents, submit:<\/p>\n

                            \n
                          • enrollment, semester sheet and CV form,<\/li>\n
                          • registration form-index,<\/li>\n
                          • data on the state of health - medical certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n

                             <\/p>\n

                            In the academic year 2023\/2024. students participate in study costs in accordance with the Decision on the enrollment of students in the first year of undergraduate studies at the faculties of the University of Zenica, as well as study participation costs for other years of study.<\/p>\n

                            Article 12.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                            Details about the place and time of submission of documents for enrollment, as well as other relevant information, will be published on the notice boards of the faculty.<\/p>\n
