On Monday, November 21, 2016, Prof. Ph.D. D\u017eevad Ze\u010di\u0107, rector of the University of Zenica hosted H.E. Exc. Jakub Skalnik, ambassador of the Czech Republic and Mr. Edin Atli\u0107, head of the EU info center in Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, a reception for guests was organized in the Rectorate of the University, at which Prof. Ph.D. sc. D\u017eevad Ze\u010di\u0107, Rector of the University, introduced Mr. Skalnik to the history of the University, the current challenges it faces and plans for future development, and the possibilities of cooperation between Czech universities and the University of Zenica.<\/p>\n

One of the focuses of the discussion was the cooperation of the EU info center with students and the academic community, as well as the organization of seminars and workshops.<\/p>\n

With the aim of providing timely and relevant information to students and academic staff of the University of Zenica about the European Union, funding programs (Erasmus, Europe for citizens, etc.) and other interesting topics, an EU info corner was established at the University of Zenica with printed materials of the European Union. and a desktop computer to be used for research on topics related to the European Union.<\/p>\n

After the reception, Mr. Exc. Jakub Skalnik held a press conference at the Faculty of Economics and Law of the University of Zenica, after which the Czech documentary film "Life according to Vaclav Havel" was shown and a public discussion was held on the topic "The process of European integration with a special focus on the integration of post-communist countries from the perspective of Vaclav Havel's legacy" Havela".<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
