Zenica-Doboj Canton Day was marked with the ceremonial session of the Assembly of Zenica-Doboj Canton, held in the Bosnian National Theater in Zenica.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The public awards of the Zenica-Doboj canton were also presented at the session. The Canton plaque was awarded to: businessman Mirsad \u010cizmo, director \u0160emsudin Gegi\u0107, professor Mahmut Karali\u0107, prim.dr. D\u017eelal Imamovi\u0107 (posthumously), and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the occasion of awarding the Plaque of Zenica-Doboj Canton to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica for its exceptional contribution to the development of the ZE-DO Canton in the field of science and medicine, we express our great gratitude to the Assembly of Zenica-Doboj Canton, the members of the Committee for Awarding Public Awards, the proposer prof. Ph.D. Nusret Imamovi\u0107, as well as all other deserving ones, for recognizing the role of the Faculty and its contribution to science and our community.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the past four years, through the iDEAlab center for student innovation and entrepreneurship (of which we are particularly proud), great ideas and potentials have been embodied, realized through a team and institutional approach based on the elements of a humane, scientific and professional approach in a wonderful sublimation of medical and technical sciences. The importance of individuals through ideas and invested energy, but also the greater importance of teamwork and young forces, the pooling of human and technical resources in an environment that appreciates and encourages such action, led to significant results based on humanity and professionalism.<\/p>\n

For the implementation of the projects, which stand out in the proposal for awarding the Plaque: the production of protective medical equipment, the development and production of prosthetic aids, the installation of 3D implants, the following deserve special credit: M.Sc. Denis Spahi\u0107, Ph.D. Hakija Beculi\u0107, Armin Bo\u0161njak, Harun Hrusti\u0107 Eng. masch., Adna \u010cosi\u0107, prof. Ph.D. Harun Hod\u017ei\u0107, Ph.D. Mirza Oru\u010d, Ahmed Mujkanovi\u0107, Belmin Hinovi\u0107, prof. Ph.D. Darko Petkovi\u0107, prof. Ph.D. Malik \u010cabaravdi\u0107, prof. Ph.D. Damir Kuki\u0107, M.Sc. Ernad Be\u0161lagi\u0107, Kemal Arifovi\u0107 Eng. inf., and other deserving individuals and institutions.<\/p>\n

In this way, the importance and role of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Medicine, as well as the University of Zenica as a whole, followed by relevant Ministries, the Zenica Cantonal Hospital, and other institutions for the development of our Canton and beyond, was best pointed out.<\/p>\n

The task of all of us, individually, as a team and institutionally, is to build an environment of constant encouragement for good and useful thinking and action, in such an environment we sound the best in us and apply this in all areas of interest, education, profession and science essential for prosperity local and wider communities.<\/p>\n

Precisely in connection with the above, on the basis of the application of the most modern 3D scanners and printers with which iDEAlab of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and iDEAlab of the Faculty of Medicine were recently equipped, the realization of certain preparatory phases of the project in the domain of TT and TF prosthetic aids, which is very important for our Canton, is underway and beyond.<\/p>\n
