Today marks two years since the death of our dear Prof. Ph.D. \u017deljko \u0160kuljevi\u0107. Employees of the University of Zenica remember this date with sadness and pain.
\nWe are proud and extremely grateful because we had the opportunity to collaborate, exchange thoughts and ideas with this great man. His work left a deep and indelible mark both at the University of Zenica and in our country, as well as beyond its borders.<\/p>\n
Prof. Ph.D. sc. \u017deljko \u0160kuljevi\u0107 was born on August 28, 1953 in Zenica. He graduated in sociology at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo, a master's degree in philosophy of science in Zagreb, and a doctorate in pure philosophy in Sarajevo in 1991 with a thesis devoted to the philosophy of Branislav Petronijevi\u0107. He was a full professor at the Department of Philosophy and Sociology at the University of Zenica, and in the period from 2005 to 2007 he held the position of vice-rector for teaching and student affairs at the University of Zenica.<\/p>\n
In addition, he was also a member of the Society of Writers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Association of Independent Intellectuals Krug 99 and the Croatian Philosophical Society. He is the founder and editor of the "Hijatus" foundation, co-founder of the Association for Philosophy and Social and Humanistic Research Eidos, then one of the founders of the Pedagogical Academy in Zenica, which later grew into the Faculty of Pedagogy, i.e. the Faculty of Philosophy. He is the winner of the City of Zenica Award.
\n\u0160kuljevi\u0107's life is best told by his books, and he left behind an entire written library, from which we can highlight the collections of poems "Ice Nocturne", "Wonders in Motion", "The Return of Orpheus", "French Diary, Imaginations", literary-memoir prose "Colonies: the testimony of one's upbringing: 1958-1972", essays: "Bosnian Breviary" and "Cortigiana: an essay on aesthetic courtesans", and in the field of philosophy scientific and professional monographs and studies: "Dialogue with Socrates", "Sophistry as an apparent truth ", "From the Sophist to Nietzsche", "The Stage of Cyrenaic Thought", "Manifesto of Atheism", "Marx and the Greeks" and "Malism and Indifference".<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
