Based on Article 67, paragraph (2) point b) and Article 68, paragraph (4) of the Law on Higher Education ("Official Gazette of the Zenica-Doboj Canton", number: 6\/09, 9\/13, 13\/13, 04\/ 15, 5\/18, 4\/19 and 19\/20), Article 21.b paragraph (6) indent 4 and Article 21.d paragraph 3 of the Law on Public Institution University of Zenica ("Official Gazette of Zenica-Doboj Canton" , number: 1\/18 and 10\/18), Articles 114, 121 and 122 of the Statute of the University of Zenica (Refined text) and the Decision of the Scientific and Teaching Council of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, number: 08-200-101-209 \/21 of March 30, 2021, the Scientific and Teaching Council of the Faculty of Law, University of Zenica, publishes<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

COMPETITION
\nfor the election of the dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I<\/strong><\/p>\n

A candidate who fulfills the following can be elected dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica general conditions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. that he is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina;<\/li>\n
  2. that he is older than 18 years;<\/li>\n
  3. that the candidate for dean is not prosecuted for criminal offense and economic offense incompatible with the function of dean;<\/li>\n
  4. that the candidate has not been convicted of a criminal offense or an economic offense incompatible with the position of dean.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    In addition to the general requirements, the candidate should meet the following special conditions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. that the teacher holds the scientific-teaching title of full professor, associate professor, or assistant professor, who meets the conditions established by the Law and the Statute of the University of Zenica (Refined text);<\/li>\n
    2. that he is employed full-time at the University of Zenica, that is, that he signs a statement that he will establish such an employment relationship after the election;<\/li>\n
    3. to actively know at least one world language;<\/li>\n
    4. that he does not have a position in the executive bodies of a political party or any organization connected to a political party.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The dean is elected for a mandate period of 4 (four) years.<\/p>\n

      II<\/strong><\/p>\n

      A candidate who has the ability to manage the Faculty can be elected dean, as evidenced by the submission of the Faculty's Work and Development Program for the term of office.<\/p>\n

      III<\/strong><\/p>\n

      With application<\/strong>\u00a0 the candidate is obliged to submit to the Competition in the original or a certified photocopy<\/strong> evidence of fulfillment of general and special conditions, namely:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. A short biography with an overview of published scientific research and other works, address, contact phone number and e-mail address,<\/li>\n
      2. Certificate of citizenship, in accordance with point 1) of the general conditions;<\/li>\n
      3. Birth certificate, in accordance with point 2) of the general conditions;<\/li>\n
      4. The decision on the last selection for the scientific-teaching title of full professor, associate professor or assistant professor, i.e. evidence of meeting the conditions for selection to one of the mentioned scientific-teaching titles at the University of Zenica according to the provisions of the Law on Higher Education ("Official Gazette of the Zenica-Doboj Canton ", number: 6\/09, 9\/13, 13\/13, 04\/15, 5\/18, 4\/19 and 19\/20) and the provisions of the Statute of the University of Zenica (Refined text), in accordance with point 1) of special conditions;<\/li>\n
      5. Certificate of full-time employment at the University of Zenica, i.e. a signed statement, certified by the competent authority or a notary, that after the election, he will establish such an employment relationship, in accordance with point 2) of the special conditions;<\/li>\n
      6. Certificate of active knowledge of at least one world language, in accordance with point 3) of the special conditions;<\/li>\n
      7. A statement that he does not hold a position in the executive bodies of a political party or an organization associated with a political party, certified by a competent authority or a notary, in accordance with point 4) of the special conditions;<\/li>\n
      8. The Faculty's work and development program for the mandate period (to be submitted in printed and electronic versions (on CD), in accordance with Article II;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

         <\/p>\n

        The documents mentioned in the previous paragraph must be original or certified copies no older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Competition, and the work and development program in electronic version (on CD). The candidate is obliged to sign the competition application, a short biography with an overview of published scientific research and other works, address, contact phone number, e-mail address and the Faculty's Work and Development Program for the term of office.<\/p>\n

        IV<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Candidates who meet the conditions required by the Competition will present their program of work and development of the Faculty for the term of office at the election session of the Scientific and Teaching Council of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica.<\/p>\n

        V<\/strong><\/p>\n

        The candidate who is selected by the decision of the Scientific and Teaching Council of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica is obliged to submit to the competition committee for the selection of the dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica within 7 (seven) days from the date of the session of the Scientific and Teaching Council of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica certificates\/ certificates of competent courts in accordance with point c) of the general conditions and confirmation\/certification of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in accordance with point d) of the general conditions of the Competition.<\/p>\n

        Candidates submit the above-mentioned certificates\/verifications, not older than 3 (three) months from the date of issue by the competent authorities, in the original or a certified copy.<\/p>\n

        VI<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Applications with all necessary evidence must be submitted within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of the Contest in a daily newspaper.<\/p>\n

        Information on the scope of work of the Dean of the Faculty is available on the website of the University of Zenica www.unze.ba (Statute).<\/p>\n

        Applications for the Competition with the necessary attachments are submitted in a sealed envelope by registered mail or to the protocol of the Rectorate of the University of Zenica, to the address:<\/p>\n
