On April 15, 2021. II (second) session of the Assembly of the Rector's Board\/Rector's Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held. The session was held online.<\/p>\n
At the session, the Report on the work of the RZ\/RK BiH for 2020 and the Financial report of the RZ\/RK BIH for the year 2020 were discussed and adopted.<\/p>\n
Members of the RK\/RZ BiH supported the initiative of the Attache for Education and Culture of the USA in BiH Holly H. Zardus for the implementation of the project "Using the database collected by international studies to improve the scientific research competences of universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina", considering it a very useful project for experts and researchers, especially at faculties that educate future teachers.<\/p>\n
The rectors also discussed the realization of the summer semester of the academic year 2020\/2021. at public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established that teaching takes place online through electronic platforms, except for clinical exercises held in clinical centers. At some faculties, in order to realize the exercises, it is practiced to hold them in groups of a maximum of 20 students, while respecting all epidemiological measures. Examinations and defenses of final diploma, master's and doctoral theses are organized in the premises of the faculty. Therefore, classes in the summer semester of 2021 take place in a combined model. Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Damir Kuki\u0107, rector of the University of Zenica, pointed out the fact of practical training for students of medical faculties as a special problem.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, the members of the RZ\/RK BiH sent sincere congratulations to the newly elected director Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Enes Ha\u0161i\u0107 and the management of the Agency for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of BiH.<\/p>\n
At today's session of the RZ\/RK of BIH, a conclusion was reached that due to the exceptional sensitivity, importance, and exposure to COVID-19, a request should be sent to the competent entity and cantonal bodies to place personnel working in preschool, primary, secondary and higher education in priority system in the COVID-19 vaccination.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
