Today, 05\/24\/2022. in the Rectorate of the University of Zenica, a reception was organized for students who achieved excellent results in sports competitions.<\/p>\n
Students, professors and coaches were hosted by Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Jusuf Durakovi\u0107, rector of the University of Zenica. The Rector sent sincere congratulations to the competitors, thanked them for the excellent promotion of the University of Zenica in the field of sports, and wished them much success in the upcoming competitions.<\/p>\n
Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Aleksa Stankovi\u0107 informed the students about the plans for going to tournaments and competitions until the end of this year, as well as the plans for organizing sports teams of the University of Zenica at international tournaments in the coming period.<\/p>\n
A team of 10 students from the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica attended this year's international competition called the Construction Competition.<\/p>\n
The competition has been held for many years, and students have the opportunity to compete in many construction fields, as well as in various sports.<\/p>\n
Our students of the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica were part of the competition in the field of Structural Statics and won 3rd place and thus received a bronze medal. What we are particularly proud of is that the medal was won in an area that is considered one of the most difficult in construction.<\/p>\n
Students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica participated in the 61st Mechanical Engineering Fair held at Kopaonik in Serbia. Students took part in knowledge and sports competitions.<\/p>\n
In the field of sports competitions in the FOOTBALL category, 6th place was won, while in the TABLE TENNIS category, 4th place was won.<\/p>\n
When it comes to knowledge, 6th place was won in Mathematics 1 and Mechanical Elements, 7th place in Fluid Mechanics and Resistance of Materials, while 8th place was won in Mechanics.<\/p>\n
The overall ranking of the students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica in Ma\u0161inijada is 7th place.<\/p>\n
Considering the relatively short time for preparations and organization of the departure and participation of students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica, the above results are excellent.<\/p>\n
It is also important to point out the excellent results achieved by the students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica at the Economics Fair, which took place this year in Trebinje. Our students competed in basketball, football, table tennis and knowledge categories. The following results were achieved: 1st place men's table tennis; 4th place men's basketball; 4th place men's soccer and 4th place elevator pitch.<\/p>\n
We would like to thank all participants of the University of Zenica, organizers and sponsors who supported our students.<\/p>\n
