On 12.07.2023. year, in the cabinet of the director of JU Cantonal Hospital Zenica dr. Tarik Zulovi\u0107 was given a working meeting attended by Assoc. Ph.D. prim. Ermin \u010cehi\u0107, assistant director for teaching and NIR JU Cantonal Hospital Zenica, prof. Ph.D. Fuad Had\u017eikaduni\u0107, vice-rector for NIR of the University of Zenica, prof. Ph.D. Harun Hod\u017ei\u0107, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zenica and assistant professor. Ph.D. Mirza Oru\u010d, vice dean for NIR of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zenica.<\/p>\n
At the meeting, the importance of the Zenica Cantonal Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica for our University in Zenica and the Zenica-Doboj Canton, as well as the wider community, was pointed out. JU Cantonal Hospital Zenica with its capacities represents a significant teaching, but also a scientific and research base, which, coupled with the capacities of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica, gives overall significant potential for joint development in the area of education of new staff, education and advancement of existing staff, professional and highly scientific improvement of all staff , which, in addition to other significant segments, also strengthens the development of the University of Zenica. The desire is to jointly develop a university clinical center as soon as possible, in addition to teaching areas and cooperation in that area, to develop cooperation in the area of scientific research areas and capacities, which enables further development of basic and applied medical areas and the advancement of significant personnel resources. They discussed the possibilities of joint cooperation in research, publication of research results through reference world conferences and journals, participation in international projects through which the possibility of purchasing equipment opens up, participation in domestic projects and cooperation with the public sector, research in the domain of the second and planned third cycle of studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica, as well as the opening of the process in the domain of specialist and sub-specialist examinations.<\/p>\n
In accordance with the recognized areas and activities aimed at the development of the joint action of the Zenica Cantonal Hospital, the Faculty of Medicine and the University of Zenica, certain activities were agreed upon, the realization and degree of execution of which will be determined at the next meeting in the near future.<\/p>\n
