On Thursday, July 20, 2023, the rector of the "Karatekin" University in Cankiri, prof. Ph.D. Harun Ciftci visited the University of Zenica. A meeting was held at the Rectorate of the University of Zenica, which was attended by the vice-rector for international cooperation and quality assurance, prof. Ph.D. Hasan Avdu\u0161inovi\u0107, vice-rector for teaching and student affairs, prof. Ph.D. Ma\u0161a Alijevi\u0107, vice-rector for scientific research, prof. Ph.D. Fuad Had\u017eikaduni\u0107 and head of the study program Turkish language and literature prof. Ph.D. Edina Solak, while the Turkish delegation consisted of the rector prof. Ph.D. Harun \u010cift\u010di, vice-rector prof. Ph.D. Husejin Odaba\u0161 and head of the Office for International Cooperation Assoc. Ph.D. Shuajip Turan. At the meeting, the results of the cooperation between the two universities so far were analyzed, and all the participants of the meeting agreed with the statement that the cooperation so far has been very successful and that the realized exchange of students and teaching staff in both directions stands out. However, vice-rector Avdu\u0161inovi\u0107 and rector \u010cift\u010di particularly emphasized the fact that they are determined to further improve cooperation with new projects and to offer students enrollment in a joint study program for obtaining a double degree. At the meeting, specific decisions were made with the aim of improving cooperation between the "Karatekin" University in Cankiri and the University in Zenica. Namely, the head of the Turkish language and literature study program at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zenica, prof. Ph.D. Edina Solak was invited to participate as an introductory speaker at the Second International Scientific Conference "Common Heritage of the Turkic World", which will be held at the "Karatekin" University in Cankiri in the period from October 29 to 31, 2023. After the meeting at the Rector's Office, the representatives of the "Karatekin" University in \u00c7ankiri also visited the premises of the Turkish Language and Literature study program of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica, where they got acquainted with the teaching staff and the way of working in the said study program. Rector \u00c7ift\u00e7i stated that he is particularly happy and satisfied because the Turkish language and Turkish literature are studied at the University of Zenica, and that this additionally obliges him to do everything in his power so that the University of Zenica and the Turkish language and literature study program have a privileged status in all future projects that will be realized at the "Karatekin" University in Cankiri.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
