UNIVERSITY IN ZENIKA<\/p>\n
After the signing of the Collective Agreement for the field of higher education in the area of ZDK, we consider it appropriate to address the public with only one goal, and that is to highlight the truth. During the negotiations, we announced only one press conference, after which we did not come forward despite a series of untruths that were deliberately placed in the public and dishonorable activities by the Prime Minister of ZDK, which the Trade Union Organization UNZE (SO UNZE) tried in every way to share, but also devalue her work.<\/p>\n
The saddest thing in all of this is that the first people in power in the ZDK allowed themselves to attribute all the activities of the UNZE trade union organization exclusively to themselves, but also to dare to underestimate the trade union organization itself. With the aim of preserving dignity and highlighting the truth, we inform the public of the following:<\/p>\n
The trade union organization UNZE is a legal entity that operates on the basis of the Statute and Rules on the Organization of the Trade Union of UNZE, and within SSVOONK ZDK, which means that it is NOT ANY PRIVATE TRADE UNION. Decisions within SO UNZE are made institutionally. The qualifications that came from the Prime Minister of ZDK damaged the reputation of SO UNZA and caused irreparable damage, which people in government should take into account.<\/p>\n
The UNZE trade union organization initiated negotiations on the new Collective Agreement, formed a negotiation team, proposed a linear salary increase of 250 KM for everyone at UNZE, proposed co-financing of doctoral students, an increase in allocations for transportation costs according to the full price of a monthly ticket, compensation for performing the work of an absent\/absent worker for administrative staff, a new method of salary calculation, etc. So, none of the above was a proposal of either the old or the new ZDK Government, about which the Prime Minister does not stop misleading the public.<\/p>\n
Without the consent of the SO UNZE, the president of SSVOONK ZDK would never be able to sign the Collective Agreement, from which the government representatives in ZDK would have to understand what the SO UNZE is and how it functions, if they haven't already.<\/p>\n
Decisions adopted by the SO UNZE at the session on December 25, 2023. on starting a warning strike and deleting part of the provisions of art. 26 st. 2 regarding the abolition of the acquired rights of workers at UNZE, which we did not give up and which 75 teachers and associates at UNZE stood behind, proved to be effective, because the government representatives understood that they could not abolish any right acquired by the Collective Agreement, nor "insert" legal basis for its cancellation. After they have achieved their effect, the SO UNZE is at the session of 18.01.2024. The decision on the warning strike was invalidated, and already on 23.12. consented to the signing of the Collective Agreement.<\/p>\n
SO UNZE was under attack during the negotiations, and its members were exposed to pressure from the authorities, which often damaged interpersonal relations at UNZE, which a serious government should never allow itself. Government representatives undertook all activities to undermine solidarity, trade union independence and activities, which we consider dishonorable.<\/p>\n
When it comes to the non-adoption of the new Rulebook on salaries at UNZE, which the Prime Minister contextualizes with the activities of the UNZE Board of Directors, we remind him that the ZDK Government has a majority in the UNZE Board of Directors. UNZE workers did not block the adoption of the new Wage Ordinance by themselves. UNZE workers care about the University itself more than anyone else.<\/p>\n
It is untrue that the Government offered to increase transport costs, but that was the request of SO UNZA.<\/p>\n
It is untrue that the Government offered to co-finance the costs of doctoral studies rather than SO UNZE. On this occasion, we are just asking how the government will solve the potential discrimination among workers for whom they will co-finance the costs of up to 3,000 KM, if they have enrolled for a doctorate outside UNZE (because the same has not been started at UNZE) in relation to workers who will bear all the costs of their doctoral studies, because they can to enroll in a doctorate at UNZE? During the negotiations, they claimed that they would not allow it!<\/p>\n
It is untrue that the ZDK Government came forward at all before the expiration of the old Collective Agreement, but the SO UNZE was the first to do so, which, unfortunately for the Prime Minister, is a "private trade union". It would be nice if the Prime Minister explained that term to us, in which law encyclopedias and legal dictionaries does it exist!?<\/p>\n
Finally, we tell all workers that they must fight for their rights and that no one will give us anything if we are not ready to fight for our rights.<\/p>\n
