The University of Zenica has started the implementation of the project "Digital transformation of SMEs in the ZDK processing industry", which includes the realization of specially designed project activities in the field of digitization, innovation and R&D networking of the business and academic community.<\/p>\n
The expected results of the project implementation are the creation of 7 new jobs (including 3 women and 3 young people), an increase in the total revenue of the pilot company for 5%, the development and implementation of 1 new innovative product for the use of renewable energy sources, the development and implementation of 1 new digital solution in production , implementing 7 specialized training programs and increasing the level of competence, knowledge and skills of the workforce in the ZDK area, and establishing a functional model of dual education organization in the ZDK area, as well as establishing 3 international R&D partnerships of cooperation, knowledge transfer and applicable practices between the academic and business community .<\/p>\n
The project lasts 10 months, and its total value is EUR 138,584.00, of which EUR 97,584.00 is co-financed by the European Union and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany through the project "Innovations and digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina\/EU4DigitalSMEs." The project activities are carried out by The University of Zenica in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Kragujevac and the Faculty of Engineering Sciences in Kragujevac, and 7 pilot companies: STEEL Company doo Jelah-Te\u0161anj; Kopi\u0107 Pro Fab-KPF doo Te\u0161anj; SSAM PLAST doo Jelah-Te\u0161anj; Metal Land doo Doboj South; Prima Commerce doo Zenica; KPM \u2013 BH Metal and Plastics Processing Center doo Te\u0161anj and Kalim Profil Ltd. Tesanj.<\/p>\n
The project "Innovations and digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina \/ EU4DigitalSME" is co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ). The project is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and is aimed at creating an encouraging environment for small and medium-sized enterprises with the aim of successful digital and innovation transformation, and for the purpose of comprehensive improvement of the so-called ecosystem for innovation and digitization in Bosnia and Herzegovina<\/em>.
