{"id":34332,"date":"2025-03-18T14:53:01","date_gmt":"2025-03-18T14:53:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unze.ba\/?p=34332"},"modified":"2025-03-18T14:53:01","modified_gmt":"2025-03-18T14:53:01","slug":"viroidoc-msca-dn-open-call-for-phd-candidates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unze.ba\/en\/viroidoc-msca-dn-open-call-for-phd-candidates\/","title":{"rendered":"ViroiDoc MSCA DN Open Call for PhD candidates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rector&#039;s Forum of Southeast Europe and Western Balkans informs about the\u00a0<strong>ViroiDoc MSCA DN Open Call for PhD candidates.\u00a0<\/strong>The ViroiDoc Doctoral Network is seeking for 10 highly motivated Doctoral Candidates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborating in research labs in France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Slovenia and Spain.<\/li>\n<li>Research projects on viroids, the smallest plant pathogens, and viroid-like RNAs that have only recently been discovered outside the plant kingdom.<\/li>\n<li>Secondments to partner laboratories or companies involved in plant breeding and plant protection located in Argentina, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Spain.<\/li>\n<li>For applicants with a university degree (MSc or equivalent) in plant biology, genetics, cell biology, biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, chemistry or a related discipline, completed no later than by the start of the PhD project.<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate should have a strong interest in conducting collaborative research in international and cross-sectoral contexts.<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action (MSCA).<\/li>\n<li>One of the (specific) eligibility criteria: The candidate has not resided or carried out your main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the selected host laboratory for more than 12 months during the 3 years immediately before the recruitment date.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deadline for applications: 25 April 2025 by 12:00 CET.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Full details of the vacancies, the training program and how to apply are available at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.viroidoc.eu\/people#job-vacancies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.viroidoc.eu\/people#job-vacancies<\/a>.
