The participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina received a warm welcome from the BFH staff, who provided basic information and showed the Faculty complex, which - in accordance with the Swiss building tradition and the dominant scientific field studied at the BFH - is mostly made of wood ( see photos). On the same day, the lectures began, which will last for two weeks, and the topics will be: technologies in the wood industry; wooden constructions and structures of modern houses; furniture for the international market; innovative wood-based materials; quality management in the final stage of processing; air quality and emissions; innovation, research and development and safety at work. As part of this study stay, the participants visited two companies on Wednesday, May 31, 2017: ROTH (produces glued timber) and WENGER (produces windows).
