The Rector of the University of Zenica, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Durakovi\u0107, today hosted Ahmed Krnji\u0107, a prominent athlete and member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national boxing and kickboxing team. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of connecting sports and education, as well as the possibilities of cooperation between the University of Zenica and successful athletes and sports associations.<\/p>\n
Ahmed Krnji\u0107 has achieved an impressive series of results in recent months within the framework of WBC Boxing Grand Prix<\/strong> in the heavyweight category \u2013 after victories against Yordy Valenzuela Santos, Davide Brito and Tsotne Rogava, Krnji\u0107 defeated South African Keaton Gomes in the semifinals of the tournament in Riyadh and advanced to the big final<\/strong>,<\/strong> which will be held December 20th in Dubai<\/strong>.<\/strong> The winner of the final gains the status of mandatory challenger for the belt.
