On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica was officially opened \u00a0EU ProLocal Academy<\/strong>\u00a0within\u00a0Competitive Business Based Export and Training Service Centre\u00a0<\/strong>(COBETS)<\/strong>\u00a0of the project <\/strong>\u00a0EU ProLocal\u00a0<\/strong>program for local self-government and economic development financed by the European Union and the Government of Germany, and implemented by the Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ),<\/p>\n

The primary goal of this project is to improve access to the market for companies from the wood processing sector. Within the framework of the EU ProLocal Academy, trainings will be organized for representatives of the management of partner companies. Challenges in the field of financing, liquidity, country selection when entering the foreign market, legal aspects of export business are just some of the challenges to which the representatives of the academic community will offer answers. It is especially important to point out that the academy will have an international character because, in addition to professors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, professors from Serbia will also participate. The partners of this project are companies from the field of wood processing, eight of them.<\/p>\n
