On Thursday, October 25, 2018. in the building of the Faculty of Economics and Law of the University of Zenica, a round table was held on the topic "Education of personnel for the labor market". The participants of this round table were primarily representatives of the economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, members of the Economic Business Council of the University of Zenica, members of the Stakeholder Forum of the University of Zenica, representatives of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, representatives of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj canton and, of course, representatives of the University of Zenica.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Enes Ha\u0161i\u0107, vice rector for teaching and student affairs of the University of Zenica, spoke about the activities of the University of Zenica in opening new study programs in accordance with the needs of the labor market. The vice-chancellor presented all the faculties of the University of Zenica and their departments, and in particular referred to the new departments at the Faculty of Polytechnic and Mechanical Engineering.<\/p>\n

Examples of good practice from the economy were presented by Mr. Mahmut Galija\u0161evi\u0107, general manager of the company Mann Hummel from Te\u0161nj. In addition to the presentation of the Mann Hummel company, Mr. Galija\u0161evi\u0107 also presented the ways in which this company is involved in the education of young people, primarily through different types of scholarships, both for high school students and students, and through the organization of various student visits.<\/p>\n

Another example of good practice from the economy is the company Hifa Oil Group Te\u0161anj, which was talked about by the executive director, Mr. Venan Had\u017eiselimovi\u0107. Mr. Had\u017eiselimovi\u0107 also presented the modalities of scholarship and employment of students.<\/p>\n

Recently, more and more people are talking about public-private partnership projects. The director of the Student Center of the University of Zenica presented six potential projects of the University of Zenica that were included in the Catalog of PPP ZDK projects. Mr. Osman Buza, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Economy, on this occasion also presented the legal framework of PPP ZDK.<\/p>\n
