After my first Erasmus+ exchange experience in Maribor, I wanted to take full advantage of the opportunity offered by the program and apply for another Erasmus+ exchange semester. The invitation that was announced for an exchange at the University of Poitiers was an opportunity for me to spend a semester of study at one of the oldest universities in Europe, as well as to spend 5 months in France, to get to know its culture and visit cities such as Paris, Bordeaux, Nantes, Toulouse, La Rochelle and many others.<\/p>\n

The exchange at the University of Poitiers itself is a great experience both academically and in terms of the functioning of a modern European university. The concept of a large campus with several canteens, reading rooms, libraries, student dormitories, along with separate faculty buildings clearly depicts the way universities should develop in our region.<\/p>\n

As for the choice of subjects and the curriculum, they are largely oriented towards current events in the world, at least at the Faculty of Economic Sciences. The principles studied from various spheres of the economy can be "felt" both in the global and regional economy. One of the things that delighted me the most was the concreteness in dealing with current economic phenomena through real examples.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

I would recommend students to seize the opportunity and enrich themselves for the unique Erasmus+ exchange experience. I would further recommend that you take the opportunity to learn as much as possible of the language spoken in the country you are traveling to, as this is the best way to make your study during one semester a complete experience. I would also like to thank the Office for International Cooperation of the University of Zenica, which enabled the procedure to be completed as quickly as possible and where you can always turn to for help or advice.<\/p>\n
