In the period from 15 to 18 April 2019. In 2018, an educational excursion was held for students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Polytechnic of the University of Zenica, during which students and professors had the opportunity to visit the companies MRK Systeme GmbH and KUKA in Augsburg (Germany), eminent companies in the field of industrial robotics and solutions for industrial automation.<\/p>\n

She hosted the students and professors of the University of Zenica\u00a0 M.Sc. Maja Had\u017eiselimovi\u0107<\/strong><\/a>, an expert in the field of mechatronics and robotics.<\/p>\n

This educational excursion has a special significance because the University of Zenica is the first from BiH to come to the headquarters of the KUKA company.<\/p>\n

As part of the professional part of the visit to MRK Systeme GmbH, the students had the opportunity to learn, among other things, about contemporary trends in the field of robot application and requirements in the field of programming different types of robots for different purposes, current company projects and requirements in the domain of robot programming for specific the needs of certain companies, such as Volkswagen and others, the types and specifics of different sensors, the development of new sensors, requirements in the field of meeting standards with special emphasis on the reliability and safety of robotic systems, requirements in the field of cooperation between robots and humans, etc.<\/p>\n

During the visit to the production segment of the KUKA company, students and professors had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the production of robots with an emphasis on mechanical production of components, cooperation with suppliers and assembly of overall systems, testing of robots, implementation of robots in various branches of industry, medicine, further directions in the field production of robots, development of automated mobile robotic systems, etc. A special segment of the lecture was from the domain of human-robot cooperation by experts from the KUKA company.<\/p>\n

In addition to the educational contents of the visit of a professional nature, a visit to the city of Augsburg and the contents offered by the city itself was arranged. Also, before the visit to Augsburg, a visit to the city of Munich (M\u00fcnchen) was organized.<\/p>\n

Maja Had\u017eiselimovi\u0107 on the implementation of the educational excursion of students and professors to the companies MRK Systeme GmbH and KUKA, and a wonderful time together. Also, we would like to thank the management of the mentioned companies for the approval for the realization of the educational visits.<\/p>\n
