Ph.D. sc. Almaide Gigovi\u0107-Geki\u0107, prof. Ph.D. sc. Jusuf Durakovi\u0107 and Assoc. Ph.D. sc. Nadire Bu\u0161atli\u0107 paid a professional visit to the companies SurTec Eurosjaj doo and Graewe Tadiv doo in Konjic, Saraj Komerc - Gornji Vakuf\/Uskoplje, Komar-Tvornica gypsum Donji Vakuf and Pobjeda dd Te\u0161anj-Livnica in Turbet. During the visit to these companies, the students had the opportunity to visit the production facilities and get acquainted with the technologies and services provided by these companies. The companies we visited are leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of services they provide. In Konjic, the students visited the companies SurTec Eurosjaj doo and Graewe Tadiv doo. The main activity of the company SurTec Eurosjaj doo is the production and marketing of chemicals for galvanotechnics, industrial degreasers, surface protection services, etc. while the company Graewe Tadiv doo has been successfully engaged in the production of screws and screw products for years. In Gornji Vakuf\/Uskoplje, we visited the company Saraj Komerc, whose main activity is the production of springs and spring elements for the automotive and electrical industry, mechanical engineering, medicine and agricultural machinery, as well as the production of various metal parts for the automotive industry. In addition to the production of springs, there is also the production of fuel filter covers obtained by a combination of a whole range of technologies, such as pressing, forming and bending pipes, assembly, brazing in a protective atmosphere, and surface protection of metals. The Komar plaster factory is located in Donji Vakuf and the students had the opportunity to visit the plaster production facilities. This company is the leading producer of baked gypsum in this part of Europe, and the exclusive supplier for all producers of gypsum plasters (mortar) in the territory of Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Foundry is located in the industrial zone of Turbeta, which is a subsidiary of Pobjeda dd from Te\u0161nj. The basic production program of the foundry consists of gray and nodular cast iron products weighing from 0.5 to 300 kg. Students had the opportunity to follow the production from the preparation of the melt to casting into molds and control of the finished product.<\/p>\n<p>The management of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology would like to thank the companies that were our hosts and we hope to continue our successful cooperation.
