The promotion of the book "Echoes of Change: Advancing Gender Equality in the Western Balkans", which was created as a result of follow-up research on gender equality within the UNIGEM project, was held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in the hall for the Scientific and Teaching Council of the Faculty of Law, University of Zenica.<\/p>\n

The promotion was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Larisa Veli\u0107, PhD, who at the beginning emphasized the importance of the UNIGEM project, the role of the Center for Gender Equality of the University of Zenica, and reviewed the activities implemented so far within the UNIGEM project.<\/p>\n

\"\"The book's promoters were Assoc. Prof. D\u017eenana Radon\u010di\u0107 and Assoc. Prof. Ivana Grube\u0161i\u0107, who emphasized the importance of the research itself for our country, given that over 50% research participants come from the academic community in BiH. The promotion was attended by students, teaching and administrative staff, who actively participated in the discussion regarding the published results, as well as the steps that need to be taken to essentially achieve gender equality and prevent future gender-based violence in the academic community and society as a whole.<\/p>\n
