09.05.2016. MF AND CIP UNZE: CEREMONY OPENING OF TWO NEW LABORATORIES ON THE OCCASION OF THE DAY OF THE FACULTY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AND EUROPE DAY

On 09.05.2016. it was very festive in the premises of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica. Although the two laboratories have been in use for a long time, the "most suitable" moment was awaited for the ceremonial opening of the IDEA-lab center at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering as part of the Tempus IDEA-lab project led by the University of Novi Sad and the Laboratory for Environmental Monitoring (LOM), which is opened as part of the Tempus RESI project led by the University of Hohenheim from Germany. First, in a crowded amphitheater, with numerous guests and students, representatives of companies from the Central Bosnia region, the Dean of the Ministry of Finance, Assoc. Ph.D. Fuad Hadžikadunić gave an overview of the 39 years of work of this higher education institution, after which Prof. Dr. Darko Petković, Director of CIP UNZE, presented the results of UNZE in international projects in the last few years and emphasized the importance of internationalization, which needs to be worked on even more, and presented the IDEA-lab project and the space for the development of student entrepreneurship and innovation at the MF UNZE. Next, Prof. Dr. Šefket Goletić presented the LOM center of the MF UNZE and the new master's study in renewable energy sources and ecology, which will start in the next academic year at the MF UNZE. The ceremonial opening of the laboratory was announced by UNZE rector Prof. Dr. Dževad Zečić, after which the guests and hosts went on a tour of the new premises at the faculty, where they received new information from the direct managers of each of the laboratories (IDEA-lab MF UNZE Prof. Dr. Amra Talić, M.Sc. Denis Spahić, MSc, LOM MF UNZE - Nusret Imamović, Ph.D., Džafer Dautbegović, Ph.D.).
