Europe for Peace Program - Peace for Europe:
The program "Europe for Peace - Peace for Europe" is intended for young people up to 23 years of age. The project can cover travel expenses, accommodation and other expenses for bilateral youth projects. Application deadline: March 15, 2006.

Establishing the project under the title: "Integration and development of the University of Zenica in accordance with the principles of the Bologna process":
As the University of Zenica, like other universities in Europe, is in a complex process of transformation in accordance with the provisions of the Bologna Process, the management of the University of Zenica, at the College Session held on September 24, 2005. constituted a permanent project entitled "INTEGRATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE BOLOGNA PROCESS" which has a large number of very significant or strategic sub-projects. They are of crucial importance for the future of the University of Zenica. All sub-projects will be or have already been worked on with project teams appointed by the Rectorate of the University, which will consist of employees with adequate knowledge to work on a specific project from and outside the University. Projects carried out in cooperation with international institutions will include the participation of appointed persons from the University of Zenica in accordance with the needs of each project.
In the phase of defining this project as sub-projects that are in the phase of realization, preparation or have been completed, the following projects are:

As sub-projects of the project INTEGRATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE BOLOGNA PROCESS, which have an inter-university or international character and in which the University of Zenica is involved, the following projects are currently defined:

MODERNIZATION OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT CAPABILITIES OF UNIVERSITIES IN BIH
(Joint project of the European Commission and the Council of Europe):
the working group for drafting the prototype of the statute for the integrated university in BiH successfully completed its task in Neum on June 10 and 11, 2005.

The final text was adopted by the working group. It was agreed that the members of the working groups will undertake the last technical review of the attached statute by e-mail. In case of significant comments regarding the content, the Council of Europe will collect individual proposals and, where possible, include them in the comments of the final publication. The comments of the members of the working groups should be sent to the Council of Europe by July 10, 2005.
After July 10, the text will be sent to the relevant partners for further comments (ie Council of Europe experts, BiH Rectors' Conference, project steering committee, EUA and the European Commission) before printing.
Presentation of the project FP 6, FP 7, Era-Westbalkan and others:
On Tuesday 17.05. at 3 p.m. at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials of the University of Zenica, a presentation of the NIP FP 6 and ERA WEST BALKAN projects was held. The very informative presentations included general information about the framework programs, information about the Sixth and upcoming Seventh framework programs, and the possibilities of BiH. institutions to participate in them. The presenters were:

Project INTRODUCTION of the ECTS at the B&H UNIVERSITIES:
The universities have to follow the world trends in higher education in order to fit all societies and economic requests as well as to get integrated in the European academic community. Therefore we have defined two specific project objectives: harmonization and adoption of the curricula at all BH universities as a pre-condition for introduction of the ECTS and introduction of the ECTS credit system
