Center for innovation and entrepreneurship
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Zenica was established in 2008 by the decisions of the Senate and the Board of Directors of the University of Zenica. The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a sub-organizational unit within the University of Zenica.
Work activity and key activities in 2022 presented in the Internal Evaluation of Work in 2022. As a part of UNZE, the work of CIP took place in cooperation with other OJ UNZE and areas of work that CIP has in its mission of existence. Participation was taken with papers at conferences and numerous round tables, seminars and panel discussions, a large number of different important events were organized, and several large projects were participated in. CIP contributed to the ICT equipment of UNZE in 2022 as well.
Office for the support of students with special needs
Office for the support of students with special needs The Office for Support of Students with Special Needs was created within the framework of the Tempus project "Equal Opportunities for Students with Special Needs in Higher Education" (EQOPP) (2011-2014) (Project number: 516939-TEMPUS-1-2011-1-BA-TEMPUS -SMHES) and is intended to improve access, meet needs and rights and improve the study experience of students with special needs (students with motor disorders, hearing impairments, visual impairments, specific learning difficulties, mental disorders, students with speech disorders language communication, with chronic diseases, students with a risk such as belonging to an ethnic minority, students who are in an academically disadvantaged position and with a low socio-economic status, students who have experience of violence, trauma, etc.) at all universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Office for Career and Competence Development
The Office for Career and Competence Development of the University of Zenic was created through the Tempus Competence project, in which UNZE and the Universities of Graz, Girona, Ghent, Novi Sad, Skopje and Podgorica, and WUS Austria from Graz participated.
Office/Office for quality
Along with the development of the quality assurance network and the formation of the UNZE Quality Committee, the Quality Office (Office) was formed, which represents the administrative and professional service of the Committee. The office is managed by the quality manager of the University. The office cooperates with all organizational units/affiliated members of the University. The competence and work of the Office is defined by the Rulebook on the quality assurance system of the University of Zenica, which was adopted by the Senate at the 07th session held on 14.07. in 2010. The activities of the Office are included in the Report of the Quality Committee.
Office for ECT(A)S
The activity and work of the Office and coordinator for ECTAS is defined by the Rulebook on ECTAS (European Credit Transfer And Accumulation System) of the University of Zenica, which was adopted by the Senate of the University of Zenica at the 13th session held on 28 December 2011. years.
Office for inter-university and international cooperation
The office for inter-university and international cooperation was formed with the task of coordinating activities and developing international relations with partner universities and other teaching, research and other partner institutions and cooperation networks from Europe and the world. The key elements of work in 2022 are presented in earlier chapters on international cooperation.
Center for Energy Efficiency
The Center for Energy Efficiency of the University of Zenica (CEE) was established by the Decision of the Scientific and Teaching Council of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, with the prior consent of the Senate of the University of Zenica, in November 2021. The basic role of the Center is to be a bearer, corrective and participant exclusively at the academic level and completely transparently, and to contribute to all aspects and flows of the energy transition of society. The Center's field of work is energy efficiency and renewable energy sources through practical activities in the sphere of auditing, certification, consulting, education, diagnosing, designing, auditing and monitoring, measurement and control, and research and development. With the establishment of the Center, the University of Zenica further confirmed itself and its readiness to expand the scientific and professional backbone and mission, as well as practical activities in the field of energy, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, as well as more contextual, theoretical advisory activities, production and use of energy, and its consequences in the environment. In 2022, the Center obtained a public authorization from the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning (FMPU) to perform an energy audit of buildings with a complex technical system and other constructed facilities, and perform energy certification of buildings with a complex technical system, under the number UPI/04-19-585 /22 from 20.07.2022. and which became final on 29.9.2022. years.
