The mission
Using the experiences of the sixty-year tradition of higher education in Zenica, the integrated University of Zenica through internationally recognized study programs of the first, second and third cycles continuously develops education and scientific research work, creates young people who, with their top competences, will be equally involved in the Bosnian, European and global space. The inspiring higher education and research capacities enable the academic staff and students of the University of Zenica to become recognizable for their comprehensive knowledge, scientific and professional work, critical and intercultural thinking, high ethical values, and become leaders of the socio-economic and technological development of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina. All results of teaching-scientific, scientific-research and professional work at the University of Zenica must fit into the national and international quality criteria of educational and scientific activities and results in accordance with the standards of the culture of quality.

- The vision of an internationally recognizable brand is achieved by the University of Zenica through the following activities:
- Development, introduction and quality promotion of study programs strategically important for the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the community as a whole;
- Increasing the number of permanently employed teachers and associates, according to the needs of the University of Zenica, in cooperation with the Founder;
- Intensification of international cooperation, mobility and ensuring openness for students from all continents;
- Participation and implementation of international projects;
- Improvement of the quality assurance system;
- Work on lifelong education;
- Improvement of infrastructure;
- Cooperation with the economy.
