Istanbul IT Sector On-the-Job Training Program (BHPP) Launch Notice

BIGMEV and the "Alija Izetbegović" Foundation, in partnership with Istanbul Ticaret University and the International University of Sarajevo, are launching a pilot project of on-the-job training for young candidates in the field of information technology (IT), which will be implemented in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey, in the period from September 2022 to September 2023.

During the program, participants will, among other things, be provided with:

• Professional work experience in the IT field and networking.
• Mentoring services and support in career planning and gaining work experience during the planned program.
• Certification training. Successful participants will receive a certificate at the end of the training in three "soft skills" areas, and in one area from information and communication technologies.
• Minimum wage of an IT company employee, meals, transport or public transport ticket and health insurance of the Republic of Turkey, work permit, as well as a monthly stipend.
• Provided accommodation in single rooms in Istanbul, etc.

As part of these benefits, participants will be required, among other things, to:

• Acting in accordance with the Labor Law of the Republic of Turkey and the business rules of the IT company where the program participants will be employed. Commitment to work and professional socialization for the purpose of gaining the expected work experience.
• Cooperation and good communication with the mentors assigned to them.
• Participation in selected trainings for "soft skills" and IT, which may be outside working hours, and preparation for exams for required certificates.
• Upon completion of the 12-month program, obligation to work in the next 2 years in to the IT company of Bosnia and Herzegovina, determined by BIGMEV and the "Alija Izetbegović" Foundation.
• Participation in events that will be organized as part of the promotion of the program.
