11.05.2020. EAST SARAJEVO: MEETING ON THE DUALSCI PROJECT

After the predominantly electronic communication during April 2020, on the DUALSCI (Erasmus+) project, a meeting was held between representatives of UNZA (Prof. Dr. Darko Petković and Mag. Mirza Oruč) with representatives of UIS (Assoc. Ph.D. Nenad Marković and V.Prof. Dr. Dejan Bokonjić ). The representatives of the two public BH universities first discussed the work done during the limited movement caused by the COVID 19 virus pandemic, the activities that are currently being carried out as well as the planned activities for the next period. The current legal legislation in the domain of secondary and higher education when it comes to practical work of students in business systems, ferial practice, as well as the needs that arise when it comes to a significantly wider participation of practice as envisioned in the dual study concept, is reviewed. There was also talk about the planned business conference for September 2020 in Brčko, the procurement of equipment that is in the process, dissemination activities and marketing promotion of the project at different levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond. Prof. Petković appealed that as part of all the conferences organized by UIS and UNZE, one of the papers should also appear that will problematize "practical versus theoretical education" in order to make the topic of dual education more widely known in academic circles.
