18.02.2019. MF AND CIP UNZE: EQUIPMENT OF NEW SPACES AT MF IN THE GIZ-DTD_EU PRO-LOCAL PROJECT

In addition to the introduction of a new study department at the MoF and the creation of a network of companies through numerous seminars, visits and other joint activities on the project Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia (GIZ-DTD_EU PRO-LOCAL), the newly formed Chair of DTD at the MoF started work on the development and equipping of 2 new laboratories at the MF: IT-design Lab and FabLab. The design solutions for the new laboratories were given by Almir Akvić, M.Sc., and Ena Begičević, associate designer of the DTD Department, which initiated the process of working with companies in order to secure suitable real estate for these laboratories. The IT design lab will be equipped with a modern PC with adequate software for these purposes and will have its own special creative corner, while the FabLab, located at the Kemal Kapetanović Institute, will be a laboratory for learning about the characteristics and workability of wood through work on smaller models and small machines that should serve as preparation for the transition to larger CNC machines (in Lab DTD) and industrial machines in factories and the future BIESSE training center. As part of the promotion of IDEA:lab.'s services, which is equipped with a modern 3D scanner through this project, several products were scanned for free for wood processing companies in the region, and the use of the scanner was presented for a well-known BH businessman - one of the co-owners of FIS Ambienta, Mr. Peru Gudelja. With Mr. Gudeljo discussed business and technical cooperation and the services of the new laboratories of the MF UNZE.
