18-20.06.2019. CIP UNZE: PARTICIPATION IN THE EUROPEAN INNOVATION WEEK IN BUCHAREST
The European Innovation Week was organized by the European Commission from Brussels and the JRC (Joint Research Center) in Bucharest. Namely, as one of the activities of the EU presidency during the period January-June 2019, a large number of events were planned to be held at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest (UPB), which in 2019 entered the third century of its work. First, on June 18, 2019, a ministerial-expert conference titled "Supporting Smart Specialization Strategies and Technology Transfer in South East Europe" was held in the new UPB congress hall, where the state of preparation of the document Smart Strategy Specialization in RDI in each of the SEE countries was discussed. and the state of the NIR. After the welcoming address of UPB rector Prof. Mihne Costiu and relevant ministers in the Government of Romania, two panel discussions and several afternoon work sessions were held. The next day continued with panel discussions and presentations of work reports. During his stay in Bucharest, CIP UNZA Director Prof. Dr. Darko Petković used Prof. Dr. Anton Hadar, long-term chairman of the UPB Senate, Director of the Office for International Cooperation, Mr. Lucian Mihai and a visit to the Faculty of Entrepreneurship hosted by Ionela Raluca Raduta, director of the UPB Entrepreneurship Center.
