18-21. NOVEMBER 2015: "STARTUP SPRITZER" IN GRAZ - PRESENTATION OF BUSINESS IDEAS

As part of the visit to the Technical University in Graz (as part of the Tempus project "WBCInno -Modernization of wbc universities through strengthening of structures and services for knowledge transfer, research and innovation"), the students had the opportunity on Thursday, November 19, 2015, to visit the "Startup Spritzer", which gathers young entrepreneurs from Graz and the wider area (i.e. the Styrian part of Austria).

"Startup Spritzer" promotes itself as an optimal place for presenting new business ideas and strives regularly (i.e. once a month) - "always in the same place, at the same time, without a pre-planned agenda and without barriers" - to provide an opportunity for young people not only to they inform how to start a company but also to present their ideas and get immediate feedback from the audience.

SCOOL, the team that won the local competition in Zenica, presented the idea of establishing an e-learning platform for elementary school students in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the team from the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials of UNZE presented a business idea on recycling electronic waste.

This was also an excellent preparation for the WBC competition in Belgrade, which was held immediately after the visit to Graz, i.e. on Monday, November 23, 2015. On this occasion, we congratulate the SCOOL team for winning 2nd place.
