19.07.2018. CIP-MF UNZE: GREATER DEGREE OF COOPERATION BETWEEN GIZ PROJECTS

The head of the RIPEUD project - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia, prof. Dr. Darko Petković, and the project COBETS, led by the Faculty of Economics UNZE, assistant professor Alaudin Brkić, whose goal is to form a cluster of wood processing companies in Central Bosnia, held a meeting where they presented the realized activities on both projects as well as the plan for the next work packages of the project. Prof. Petković emphasized the importance of starting the Design and Technology in Woodworking study at UNZE, in which a large number of EF teachers and associates will participate, which clearly shows the multidisciplinary nature of the study and the importance of creating output knowledge, skills and competencies, and that it will not only be of a technical nature. In the conversation about the formation and work of the future cluster, it was emphasized that it should be a place of real help to the businessmen of the region from central Bosnia who work in the wood processing sector, which will be a service from schooling to business connections to solving certain problems in which often neither "the state nor its organs " they don't have a clear and precise answer on how to solve them. Prof. Petković presented the intentions of the BIESSE BH Service company for the development of a training center in Zenica, which fits perfectly with EF's efforts to develop a wood processing cluster. There was also talk of continuing cooperation on some new applications that CIP and MF UNZE plan to do, especially in the domain of the development of study departments based on the dual model of education.
