22. 05. - 25. 05. 2017. CIP UNZE: EU CONFERENCE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PARKS

The Science and Technology Park of the University of Thessaloniki hosted a large EU conference on the state of development of science and technology parks in the countries of Southeast Europe. Among the more than 150 participants from over 30 European countries were representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina: director and secretary of CIP UNZA prof. Darko Petković and Lamija Subašić, director of TP Inter from Mostar Vedran Šimunović and academician prof. Muris Čičić from the UNSA Faculty of Economics. During the three-day work, numerous very useful presentations and presentations of experiences in the development of NTP, TP and incubators, technological transfer, the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in European countries were heard. This was also an exceptional opportunity for the CIP UNZE team to make numerous useful contacts for future joint project applications and cooperation, of which the conversations with Prof. dr. Dragan Kukolja, with FTN Novi Sad, M.Sc. Mirjana Opačić, head of the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Dr. Roberto Confalonieri and Dr. Andrea Janes from the University of Bolzano (Italy), Prof. Dr. Mustafa Guden, director of TP Izmir (Turkey), Saša Ivanović from the Ministry of Science of Montenegro, Mr. George Giakomakis from the European Investment Fund, M.Sc. Gordan Danilović-Grkvić, director of the Belgrade Science and Technology Park, Mr. Gjorgi Rafajlovski, director of TP Tetovo (Macedonia), M.Sc. Iztokom Lesjak, director of TP Ljubljana and Barbara Diehl, MSc, executive director of the Innovation Academy of the University of Dublin (Ireland).
