After a large number of Tempus projects realized in the previous 15 years, the University of Zenica "opened" its first participation in a project from the Erasmus+ program. It is the project "Strengthening of Internationalization in Higher Education of Bosnia and Herzegovina (STINT - Strengthening of Internationalization in B&H Higher Education / STINT)“. This project was prepared within program area 2, KA 2 – Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education. The project holders are the University of East Sarajevo and KU Leuveun from Belgium - Technology Campus from Ghent. From the EU, in addition to the project holder from Belgium, there are also the Polytechnic University of Porto - Portugal (Instituto Politehnico Porto) and Buckinghamshire New University from Great Britain (London). From Bosnia and Herzegovina, the partners in the project are: all public universities, the Agency for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance (HEA BIH), the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska, the Center for Information and Recognition of Documents in the Field of Higher Education from Mostar and the Agency for Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Srpska. Representatives of UNZE, Prof. Darko Petković, Ph.D., and Mirza Oruč, M.Sc., took an active part in the preparatory meeting where the key determinants of work in the next 3 years were defined. It is worth emphasizing that UNZE is the holder of work package 3 (WP 3), which is one of the most important work packages of the entire project.
