26.02.2020. CIP AND MF UNZE: THE DUALSCI PROJECT WAS PRESENTED AT THE SARAJEVO CANTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (PK KS)

In order to get to know the widest possible circle of stakeholders for the quality development of the dual study model in BiH, the head of the UNZE team on the project DUALSCI - Strengthening capacities for implementation of dual education in BH higher education - Project No. 610251-EPP-1-2019-RS-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP (structural project) spoke with Ph.D. Muharem Šabić, adviser in the Central Committee of the KS and Minister of Economy in the previous Government of the KS (2014-2018). Prof. Petković presented the DUALSCI project and its work packages, project participants and project expectations. As a person who, in addition to his functions in the Central Committee of KS and ex-Minister of Economy of KS, is engaged as a university professor at UNSA (Faculty of Transport), Prof. Dr. Šabić pointed out that this kind of project is very necessary for the academic community in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that its elaboration and implementation will be from of great importance both for HEIs and for the economy. As potential economic sectors of KS that can be of importance for UNSA in the development of the dual model of study, Dr. Šabić particularly emphasized the field of telecommunications and the companies that it brings with it, then the sector of food technologies, tourism, trade and health, which KS has the most developed. He also expressed his interest as a UNSA professor to be involved in the project's activities and as a part employee of PK KS. By the way, the Chamber of Secrets of Sarajevo Canton as a non-governmental and independent organization provides support to its members in the process of stabilization and joining the EU, business development and increasing competitiveness in the country and abroad.
