27.06.2018. CIP-MF UNZE: VISIT TO THE ISEM 2018 CONFERENCE IN SARAJEVO AND CONVERSATIONS WITH PROFESSORS FROM TURKEY

That the alumni of the University of Zenica have a special place in the development of special relations with UNZE was confirmed by the invitation of B.Sc. Adnan Lihić, today a successful businessman from Tešnj who is one of the organizers of the ISEM 2018 international conference in Sarajevo (www.i-sem.info ). As a graduate student, Adnan Lihić did his graduation thesis ten years ago at the famous Sakarya University in Adapazar and the business systems of this city. Since then, there has been a constant connection with this university and the expansion of the network that colleague Lihić is building as a successful businessman. As a guest of the conference, Prof. Dr. Darko Petković, director of CIP UNZE and professor of UNZE, had very meaningful conversations with several university professors from Turkey. Special mention should be made of the conversation with the dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of the Istanbul Technical University Prof. Dr. Ismail Koyuncu and the director of the Sakarya University Scientific Institute Prof. Dr. Naci Čaglar. Prof. Petković presented UNZE, its achievements so far, an overview of cooperation with HEIs from Turkey, and highlighted new areas of cooperation that may be of interest in the coming period. It was concluded that Mr. Lihić and Prof. Petković define as soon as possible some of the potential cooperation projects of the MF and CIP UNZE and Tešanj municipality with TU Istanbul and some of the Istanbul municipalities.
