29.12.2015. CIP AND MF UNZE: RECEPTION FOR REPRESENTATIVES OF THE COMMERCIAL DEPARTMENT OF THE AUSTRIA EMBASSY IN BIH

Guests of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering were representatives of the trade department of the Embassy of Austria in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Sigmund Nemeti (commercial advisor) and Elvir Delić (marketing officer). After the presentation of the activities of the Trade Department of the Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the broad economic cooperation between Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was arranged by Mr. Nemeti, Dean of the Ministry of Finance UNZE, Assoc. Ph.D. Fuad Hadžikadunić presented the current most important determinants of the work of the Ministry of Finance, while Prof. Dr. Darko Petković (Director of CIP UNZE) presented the project activities of CIP with special emphasis on cooperation with business systems in BiH. There was a lot of talk about the cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austrian companies, as well as the direct foreign investments that Austrian investors are making in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this sense, they presented the so-called The Red-White-Red card, which enables graduates of the Faculty of Science and Technology (mathematics, informatics, natural and technical sciences) to get a very quick job in Austria as well as to regulate residence for them and their families. As Prof. Dr. Petković and Assoc. Dr. Hadžikadunić emphasized, Bosnia and Herzegovina lacks graduates of the above professions, but due to the importance of mobility, the help that such employees have with the transfer of technologies and direct foreign investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the MoF and CIP UNZE will cooperate with the Austrian Embassy on promotion of such programs.
