AN AGREEMENT ON SUBFINANCING THE EMPLOYMENT OF 22 ASSISTANTS AT UNZE WAS SIGNED IN THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE ZDK GOVERNMENT

The employment contract for 22 trainee assistants at the University of Zenica was signed at the headquarters of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton by the Minister of Labour, Social Policy and Refugees Azra Šabanović, UNZE rector Jusuf Duraković and director of the ZDK Employment Service Anto Pešić.

The Ministry of Labour, Social Policy and Refugees of the ZDK will co-finance the employment of associate assistants at UNZE with 264,000.00 KM, and the program will be implemented in a period of 12 months, starting from September 2022. This ministry and the ZDK Government will co-finance the amount of 1,000.00 KM for part of the net salary and contributions, and the difference will be borne by the University of Zenica.

Hiring assistants is one of the program tasks of our ministry and we are proud to have signed the contract. I hope that UNZE will manage to hire assistants by the beginning of the academic year. I wish them much success and I am sure that this will be the continuation of the work of the ZDK Government - said Minister Sinanović.

Rector Duraković thanked the Government of ZDK for recognizing the need for UNZE to receive new staff, noting that a month ago the Government gave approval for the admission of 7 assistants, who will begin their working life at this higher education institution.

- This is the first time in the history of the University of Zenica that almost 30 new young staff were admitted within a month. It is a great potential and I hope that the children will recognize the need and importance of the development of the university, and at the same time to stay in the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina - said Duraković.

The line ministry will remit the approved funds to the Employment Service of ZDK, which will make the refund at the request of UNZE. Director Pešić announced that a competition for assistants will soon be announced.

- There are enough potential candidates on the bureau's records, and we will do everything necessary through our labor bureaus so that everyone who wants to work at a prestigious higher education institution such as the University of Zenica can apply for the competition - said Pešić.
