5/6.04.2016. QA OFFICE: COMPLETION OF THE TEMPUS PROJECT BENCHMARKING BIH HEI - BIHTEK

The University of Mostar, i.e. the facilities of the Faculty of Health and Medicine, hosted the final seminar on the project "Benchmarking as a Tool for improvement of higher education performance". UNZE project team Prof. Darko Petković, head of the team, assistant professor Ibrahim Plančić, UNZE QA manager and Mirza Oruč, mag. (ECTS coordinator) presented the achievements of the wider UNZE team in this project as well as future expectations from the BM method in the work HEY I WOULD. On the first day of work, Prof. Petković gave an overview of the work of the UNZE team, the problems in financing the project and the great efforts made by the members of the UNZE team in more than three years to prevent the project from being stopped/interrupted, and he presented the realization of the activities in the third year of work, which entailed benchmarking of related scientific fields with the University of East Sarajevo and benchmarking with participating foreign universitiesand in the project in certain areas (Vigo and Ghent). The KU Leuven and EU Tempus project coordinator was recognized by Prof. Petković for his expediency in the realization of the procurement of equipment for UNZE (equipment of the Senate hall for E-Senate, IT equipment of the reading room of the Faculty of Law and procurement of IT software Repository of scientific works of UNZE). On the second day of work, mag. Oruc showed the presentation of BIHTEK and UNZE with emphasis on "lessons learned from the project" and the future of the BM method at UNZE. Although the project was formally completed with the seminar in Mostar, there are still months of work by the UNZE team on it in terms of the realization of the final reports according to the EC Brussels.
