09/05/2016 CIP UNZE: VISIT OF A DELEGATION FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF BERN, SWITZERLAND

The guests of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of UNZE were dr. Kurt Wutricht, director of the Center for Development and Cooperation (CDC) of the University of Bern (University of Applied Sciences, Department for Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering) and mag. Emilie Demaurex, project manager.

The guests were welcomed by the dean of the Ministry of Finance, Assoc. Ph.D. Fuad Hadžikadunić, director of CIP of UNZE, prof. Ph.D. Darko Petković, Lamija Subašić, prof., assistant. Ph.D. Ismar Alagić and UNZE vice-chancellor prof. Ph.D. Malik Cabaravdic.

dr. Wutricht presented the University of Bern and especially the study of wood processing with special emphasis on the dual system of education in Switzerland and enhanced cooperation with the economy. After the presentation of the Ministry of Finance and CIP of UNZE, the conversation was about innovating the study program at the Ministry of Finance by introducing in the Department of Production Technology Management two directions: for metal processing technologies and wood processing technologies. The representatives of CIP of UNZE specially elaborated the "Triple Helix" model, which is used at UNZE for cooperation with the wood sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was followed by a tour of iDEAlab - the Center for Student Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Education and the presentation of the Tempus project of the same name, the Laboratory for Technologies and Design in Wood Processing ("Ambyenta Room") and the LORAM Center at the Ministry of Education, in which prof. Ph.D. Sabahudin Ekinović presented the work of this RDI unit of the MF of UNZE.
