16-19.10.2016. QA OFFICE: SEMINAR AT TEMPUS PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FRAMEWORK IN LLEIDA, SPAIN

The oldest Spanish university, the University of Lleida hosted a consortium on the Tempus project for the development of a national qualifications framework ("Bosnia and Herzegovina Qualifications Framework for Higher Education - BHQFHE") led by the German University of Paderborn. The project involves 6 public universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNZE, UNMO, SVEMO, UIS, UNTZ and UNBI), EU project partners (universities from Northampton - UK, Limerick - Ireland, Llied - Spain, Paderborn - Germany, Split - Croatia) and governmental and non-governmental agencies from Germany, Croatia and BiH (SUS BiH, HEA BiH, HEA RS, etc.). As part of the project, NQF models have been developed so far in 6 scientific fields for 3 study programs in all three study cycles according to a methodology that is compatible with other similar projects that have been done or are currently being done in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the current phase of the project, work is being done on the document that Prespresents a cross-section of the state of the education system in Bosnia and Herzegovina in all three areas: formal, non-formal and informal education. The work in four working groups in Lleida was supervised by a team of EU experts whose constructive suggestions and discussions contributed to achieving maximum agreement on the form of the project's final document. The UNZE delegation discussed the possibilities of cooperation within the Erasmus+ program with representatives of the management of the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Lleida. The seminar in Lleida in front of UNZE was attended by Prof. Dr. Darko Petković, head of the UNZE team, vice-rector for international cooperation and QA Prof. Dr. Malik Čabaravdić and assistant professor Nebojša Vasić.
