20.10.2016. CIP UNZE: VISIT TO THE CIM CENTER OF THE TECHNOLOGY PARK IN BARCELONA, SPAIN

During a multi-day visit to Spain, representatives of CIP UNZA Prof. Dr. Darko Petković and Prof. Dr. Malik Čabaravdić also visited the Barcelona Technology Park, i.e. its CIM Center. As part of the presentation of the technologies and work done at the CIM Center TP Barcelona, special attention was paid to the technology transfer sector that this center works for the business sector of Catalonia. New modern machines and equipment acquired by this center in the last two years were presented. Unlike NTP Ljeid, which has only two founders and owners (the university and the city), in the case of TP Barcelona, it is a complex form of foundation as an expression of the concretization of a private-public partnership. Many years of references in the development of new products have led to the fact that TP Barcelona is one of the technological leaders, especially in the segment of 3D printing technologies, and that it appears as a constructor and manufacturer of these devices (www.bcn3dtechnologies.com) As a joint work of the Universidad Politecnica de Catalynia and other partners, TP Barcelona is also one of the leaders of master's studies in areas such as automation, robotics, production management, product and process development, digital development of 3D models and constructions and other modern areas of production. In discussions with the hosts, full readiness was expressed to accept young researchers from BiH through active EU programs for scientific training in this TP, as well as other elements of cooperation with BiH RDI institutions.
