CIP AND MF UNZE: PRESENTATION OF THE DUALSCI PROJECT IN ADK NOVI TRAVNIK COMPANY
With the continuation of preparation of graduation and final theses by students of technical faculties of UNZE in business companies, the cooperation with companies in the Central Bosnia region continued over the years. In this sense, members of the Erasmus+ project DUALSCI - Strengthening capacities for implementation of dual education in BH higher education - Strengthening capacities for implementation of dual education in the sector of higher education in BH, the head of the UNZE project team Prof. Dr. Darko Petković and associate mag. va Emir Đulić, visited the company ADK in Novi Travnik (www.adk.ba). The company in Novi Travnik is part of a business system based in Slovenia that produces large cranes and excavators (mobile cranes, crawler excavators, etc.), large-sized components for logistics, hydrodynamic components, windmills, special order parts, etc. The company ADK as its special reference has a representation of the eminent world company LIEBHERR, for which most of the products are manufactured (http://www.adk.ba/bs/zastupstvo-liebherr.html). The company in Novi Travnik employs more than 450 employees. The UNZE delegation was hosted by Zijad Đulabić, B.Sc. production manager and Sanela Krnjić, B.Sc. technology leader who, along with a tour of the plant, presented the company in detail. A special part of the visit was devoted to the provision of adequate human resources for the company's work and the elaborated cooperation with high schools and colleges in the region. First, prof. Petković presented the work packages of the project and the expectations of the UNZE team and the entire academic community in BIH from this project. The interlocutors agreed that ADK is open to future cooperation in the next stages of project implementation, which will be particularly significant in the upcoming project activities. The interlocutors from ADK particularly emphasized the importance of better linking UNZE with companies in the domains of practice, practical solutions for seminar and diploma theses.
