Representatives of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Director, Prof. Dr. Darko Petković), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (Dean, Prof. Dr. Fuad Hadžikadunić) and Faculty of Medicine (Dean, Prof. Dr. Harun Hodžić) presented the project "DEVELOPMENT OF METHODS AND TECHNOLOGIES IN APPLICATION OF ENGINEERING KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELDS OF MEDICINE AND HEALTHCARE" for part of the members of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton. In the large assembly hall of the ZDK, the presentation was attended by the Prime Minister of the ZDK, Mr. Mirza Ganić, Minister of Health, Dr. Adnan Jupić, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Prof. Dr. Spahija Kozlić, President of the Medical Chamber of ZDK, Dr. Tarik Kapidžić, Director of the Health Insurance Institute, Mr. Omer Škaljo, advisor to the Minister of Health, MSc. Miralem Mehanović, and RVI representative Mr. Zahid Bjeloglavić. In the presentation of the current part of the project application, which has seven work packages (sub-projects), project team member prof. Petković authorized the previous activities on the development of iDEAlab centers at UNZE, references of centers, equipment review, state of Sadvice regarding the application of RP (Rapid Prototyping) and RE (Reverse Engineering) as well as other 3D technologies in the fields of medicine and healthcare, and particularly emphasized the importance of a multidisciplinary approach. In the discussion that followed the presentation, which lasted about an hour and in which almost all participants took part, the importance of the planned four-year project for UNZE and the entire ZDK health system, and especially for end users, was highlighted. In the last few months, Prof. Darko Petković, Ph.D. Fuad Hadžikadunić, Ph.D. Harun Hodžić and Ph.D. have worked intensively on the project application. Mirza Oruč also represents the continuation of the multi-year cooperation of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Medicine of the University of Zenica in the development of iDEAlab centers and the expansion of the center's range of services.
