UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA

Based on the Decision of the Senate of the University of Zenica, number: 01-02-1-196/17 dated January 25, 2017. year, the University of Zenica publishes

COMPETITION

for the election of the rector of the University of Zenica

I

The competition for the election of the rector of the University of Zenica for a mandate period of 4 (four) years is being announced.

 

II

A candidate who meets the following general conditions can be elected as rector of the University of Zenica:

1. that he is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina,

2. that he is older than 18 years,

3. that the candidate for rector is not prosecuted for a criminal offense and an economic offense incompatible with the function of rector,

4. that he has not been convicted of a criminal offense and an economic offense incompatible with the function of rector.

In addition to the general conditions stipulated in the Statute of the University of Zenica (Refined text), the candidate should also meet the following special conditions:

1. that the teacher holds the scientific-teaching title of full professor, who meets the legal requirements,

2. to actively know at least one world language,

3. that he does not have a position in the executive bodies of a political party or an organization associated with a political party.

 

III

A candidate who has the ability to manage complex scientific-teaching, scientific-artistic, research and business systems, such as the University of Zenica, can be elected Rector, which is proven by submitting program of work and development of the University in Zenica, in written and electronic form (on CD), for the mandate period from the Contest.

IV

During the duration of the mandate, if he is not in such a status, the rector establishes a full-time labor-legal status at the University of Zenica.

 

V

With application candidates for rector are required to submit evidence of fulfilling the prescribed conditions, namely:

1. A short biography with an overview of published scientific research and other works, address, contact phone number, e-mail address,

2. Certificate of citizenship, in accordance with point II subpoint 1 of the general conditions,

3. Birth certificate, in accordance with point II subsection of the general conditions,

4. The decision on the appointment to the position of full professor, in accordance with point II subpoint 1 of the special conditions,

5. Certificate of active knowledge of at least one world language, in accordance with point II subpoint 2 of the special conditions,

6. A statement certified by the competent authority that he does not hold a position in the executive bodies of a political party or an organization associated with a political party, in accordance with point II subpoint 3 of the special conditions,

7. The work and development program of the University of Zenica, in written and electronic form (on CD), in accordance with point III of the Competition,

8. Confirmation of full-time employment status at the University of Zenica (for candidates who are in full-time employment status at the University of Zenica) or a statement, certified by the competent authority, about the intention to establish employment status at the University in Zenica full-time (for candidates who do not have a full-time employment status at the University of Zenica), in accordance with point IV of the Competition.

The documents mentioned in the previous paragraph must be original or certified copies not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Competition.

The candidate is obliged to sign the application for the Competition, a short biography with an overview of published scientific research and other works, address, contact telephone number, e-mail address and a written program of work and development of the University of Zenica, in the opposite application candidate consider ce are incomplete.

Candidates who meet the conditions required by the Competition will present their program of work and development of the University of Zenica at the election session of the Senate of the University of Zenica.

VI

The candidate who is elected by the decision of the Senate of the University of Zenica is obliged, within 7 (seven) days from the date of the election session of the Senate of the University of Zenica, to submit to the Competition Committee for the election of the rector of the University of Zenica the certificates/verifications of the competent courts in accordance with point II subpoint 3. of the general terms and conditions and confirmation/verification of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in accordance with point II sub-point 4 of the general terms of the Competition.

The above-mentioned certificates/certificates, not older than 3 (three) months from the date of issue by the competent authorities, are submitted by the candidate in the original or a certified copy.

 

VII

Applications with all necessary evidence must be submitted within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of the Competition in the daily newspaper "Oslobođenje".

Applications for the Competition with attachments are submitted in a sealed envelope by registered mail or to the protocol of the University of Zenica, to the address:

Incomplete, untimely and untidy applications will not be considered.
