28.01.2017. CIP AND MF UNZA: DISCUSSIONS AT UNSA FACULTY OF FORESTRY

As part of the completion of the multidisciplinary approach to the development of the Design and Technology in Wood Processing (DTD) study at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering UNZE, the director of CIP UNZE prof. Petković visited the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Sarajevo, where he had a very meaningful meeting with the vice-dean Prof. Dr. Dževada Sokolović and former dean Prof. Dr. Safet Gurda. Prof. Petković presented the concept of the planned study with an emphasis on the vocational model, the dual study concept (business/faculty on the same task), the importance of its internationalization as an inevitability due to the fact that almost ¾ of BH's production of products is made for export, the resources with which the MoF and UNZE enter the this significant work and others. After the presentation of the Faculty of Forestry, Prof. Gurda underlined the importance of such studies, which should give momentum to greater finalization of wood products as one of the most important economic branches in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The representatives of the Faculty of Forestry gave their full support to the idea of opening a DTD study at MF UNZE and promised all kinds of help in the implementation of the teaching process on the fundamental studies of wood as a material for processing.
