publishes a call for submission of applications for participation in the project
YOUNG PEOPLE EXERCISE THE RIGHT OF ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION
As part of the project "Strengthening the civil society of the Western Balkans for reformed public administration (WeBER 2.0), which is financed by the European Union, and which the Foreign Policy Initiative of BH implements with partners within the Think for Europe network and in cooperation with the Brussels Center for European Public Policy (EPC), Humanity in Action BiH organizes the project "Youth exercise the right to access public information".
Through interactive workshops, conducting group research and focus groups, the program focuses on issues of public administration and its reform, as well as exercising the right to access public information. By participating in this project, the participants will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge that will be useful in their further formal and informal education, in writing graduation, master's and other theses, and during various researches.
The invitation applies to undergraduate and master's degree students at all higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The program consists of the following components:
>> Interactive workshop (July 2021) is primarily aimed at educating young people about issues of public administration and exercising the right to access public information.
>> Creation of an online questionnaire (August – September 2021) through which insight will be gained into how well the citizens of BiH know public administration and how familiar they are with their rights in this field.
>> Distribution of online questionnaires and analysis of results (September 2021 - January 2021) during this period, the participants will collect data on the given topic, and in cooperation with the mentor, they will analyze the results, which will subsequently be published in the form of a study.
>> Work in focus groups (November 2021 - February 2022), whose primary role is peer-to-peer education, through which participants will have the opportunity to transfer the acquired knowledge to their peers.
>> Video recording (January 2022 - February 2022) through which the participants will share their personal experiences about the right of access to public information and will offer potential solutions for public administration reform.
All participants will receive a certificate as confirmation of their participation in the Project.
All costs are borne by the organizer.
