The mayor of Zenica, Fuad Kasumović, visited the University of Zenica today, where he met with the newly elected rector, Prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković.

Mayor Kasumović congratulated the new rector and wished him success in his future work.

During the meeting, they discussed the conditions for cooperation in the field of environmental protection, but also the planned activities of the University of Zenica and the City Administration of Zenica.

"I am happy that the mayor of the city of Zenica, Mr. Fuad Kasumović, to whom I express great respect on this occasion. The visit was of a courtesy nature, but we used the time to talk about the possibility of realizing joint projects. I believe that the University of Zenica will be a good partner for the local community," said the rector, prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Durakovic.

Mayor Kasumović confirmed that the new rector will have the full support of the Zenica City Administration.

"I have known Professor Dr. Jusuf Duraković for a long time. He is an extremely respectable businessman and member of society, and he will have my support in his work. I am convinced that under his leadership, the University of Zenica will raise the standards of education and the quality of work in general," said the mayor.
