12.09.2021. CIP AND MF UNZE: SCANNING DONE IN SLIMENA MEMORIAL PARK
That they clearly recognize their role in the development of the third mission (3M) of higher education institutions was shown by the experts of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica who, in the previous period, scanned the memorial area on Slimeni between Travnik and Novi Travnik. Namely, the monument complex, which is the work of the famous artist Bogdan Bogdanović and which dates back to 1971, was unknown to the general public in BiH for a long time. Only with the efforts of GS TM and its owner, Mr. Snježana Kopnauer, funds were invested to clean the access to this monument complex and then funds were provided for its renovation. IDEA-lab experts (assistant Dr Ernad Bešlagić, assistant Dr Josip Kačmarčik and assistant Kenan Varda) scanned all 12 memorial "guardians of the people" and after processing the scanned material, the same was printed in the form of a model for the ceremonial opening of the renovated birthplace of the Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić in Travnik. The renovation of this house was financed in the largest amount by the company GS TM Travnik, which showed this company in the best way how socially responsible companies behave.
