29.10.2021. CIP AND MF UNZE: PRACTICAL TEACHING IN WOOD-TEAM AND SECOM IN VISOK

For students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Polytechnic in the departments of Production Business (II year), Design and Technologies in Woodworking - DTD (II and III years) and Management of Production Technologies (MPT), practical classes were held in the Wood-Team factories (www.woodteam.ba) and SECOM in Visoko. Head of production at Wood-Team, M.Sc. Hurun Smailbegović hosted the students, while at SECOM it was Dr.Sc. Sanin Hasanic. After seeing the production program in the exhibition halls of the factories, the students had the opportunity to visit all the production and logistics sectors of the factories and to learn in detail about the technical-technological and production processes in these two factories. Since most of the production of these factories is related to the foreign market, many questions related to the way in which the design and construction-technological documentation is done, who controls the input semi-finished products and who controls the output products, the method of packaging, shipping, internal transport, formation of the sales price, etc. The students were accompanied to the class by Prof. Dr. Darko Petković and assistant professor Emir Đulić. As this is the first practical lesson at the Wood Team company, we will give a few words about this company: It was founded in 2010 for the production of chairs. Chairs are produced in factories in Ilijaš and Visoko, where the headquarters of the company is located. They currently employ around 170 people and produce around 1000 chairs per day. The production is carried out on about 5000 m2 and the storage areas are on about 2000 m2. Secom Visoko is an old partner of the MF and PtF, which has been presented on the UNZE website several times.
