The joint doctoral studies of the three technical faculties of the University of Zenica have started

A total of 15 students were enrolled in the first joint doctoral study of the three technical faculties of the University of Zenica, confirmed Feni, dean of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, prof. Ph.D. Farzet Bikić.

In addition to Metallurgy and Technology, this study is also attended by students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Polytechnic Faculty of that university, who are offered a choice of nine scientific fields.

- This time we joined forces and for the first time organized a joint doctoral study, which will be of high quality. The exit title will be a doctor of technical sciences, with a focus on the scientific field that the student has chosen to study.

In the first semester, students will take three common subjects related to mathematics, statistics and methods of research work and communication, and the specificity is that, out of a total of five optional subjects, they will be able to choose to take two subjects from the other two faculties. Listening to those subjects should help them in the preparation of their doctoral dissertation. So, the base consists of optional subjects from the scientific field from which the candidate will do his doctorate - notes Professor Bikić.
